During the meeting, the parties hailed current level of relations between Armenia and IAEA, noting the existing potential for their further expansion. According to Bychkov, Armenia succeeded in nuclear energy development, with the country capable of serving an example to the states that are new to the experience. Hovakimyan, in turn, stressed that further strengthening of ties with IAEA is important to Armenia in terms of development of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, provision of the Armenian NPP safety, construction of a new energy block.
