Famed writer Vrezh Israyelyan dies of gunshot wound

PanARMENIAN.Net - Famed writer Vrezh Israyelyan was found dead in his Yerevan apartment on June 14, Department of Public Relations and Information of RA police told PanARMENIAN.Net

According to preliminary information, the writer died of gunshot wound.

In 1979-1981, Vrezh Israeyelyan worked in “Hayreniki Dzayn” (Homeland Voice) weekly newspaper. In 1993-99, he was the editor of “Armenian soldier” paper. In 1999, he was the appointed as chief of defense ministry’s information department. Vrezh Israeyelyan’s first stories were published in “Garun” (Spring) magazine.
