San Francisco to host unique jazz concert

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sahlab - a unique collaboration among Egyptian, Armenian, and American musicians stretching the boundaries of Near Eastern music - will perform a concert of "jazz tarab" on Sunday, June 30 at the Mission Dolores Basilica, San Francisco, kalw.org reports.

Sahlab features Egyptian violin and oud player Alfred Gamil, Armenian-American clarinet and duduk player Souren Baronian, Miles Jay on bass and buzuk, and Tobias Roberson on percussion.
