Defense Ministry: work in progress to change duty station choice mode

PanARMENIAN.Net - Work is in progress to eliminate problems in the defense management sector and boost population trust to the army, Defense Minister said.

As Seyran Ohanyan stated during parliament hearings, alteration in the mode of duty station choice for the recruits is planned next year, with a draw to be held to determine the future service site.

However, as Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan told PanARMENIAN.Net the resolution still in development and hasn’t been finalized yet.

“Such programs aim to boost transparency and effectiveness of the recruitment process as well as countering risks,” he said.
