On Friday, August 16 the studio announced the release date for the drama, which stars Colin Farrell as a thief named Peter Lake who falls in love with a dying girl played by Jessica Brown Findlay. Russell Crowe and Jennifer Connelly also star in the film set in a mythic New York City. The film, which marks Oscar-winning screenwriter Akiva Goldsman's directorial debut, will be released by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow.
