No problem with returning Armenian captive: Azeri POW commission rep.

PanARMENIAN.Net - The State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons sees no problem with returning Armenian captive Hakob Injighulyan, the Azerbaijani Commission Secretary told APA.

Shahin Sayilov noted that the captive can be handed over to Armenia or a third country only after his reasons for crossing the border are clarified.

“Everything depends on the captive’s decision. If he wants to return to Armenia he will be sent there. We do not see a problem here,” APA quoted Sayilov as saying.

On the night of Aug 8, Injighulyan, born in 1991, failed to find his bearings on the ground and crossed into the Azeri-controlled territory. No meeting with the ICRC representatives has been organized so far.
