Areximbank-Gazprombank Group celebrates 15th anniversary

PanARMENIAN.Net - Cafesjian Center for the Arts hosted the Areximbank-Gazprombank Group 15th anniversary celebration ceremony, with representatives of Russia’s Gazprombank, Armenian government, Central Bank of Armenia attending, among others.

As Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CEO Armen Khandkaryan noted at the event, the history of Areximpank and modern Armenia are closely connected, with the bank having gone a long way in adhering to a well balanced policy, boosting professional skills, improving quality of service.

According to the bank’s press service, at present, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group is a major player at the financial market, topping the list of Armenia’s largest banks for growth index. Over the last 5 years, the bank’s assets grew by 4 times, credit investments – 5 times, liabilities increased by 3 times, with authorized capital growing twice. “We’re continuously striving to justify our clients’ trust by becoming the best bank not only for the range of services offered but for their quality as well,” Khandkaryan stressed.

The First Vice President of Gaprombank OJSC Victor Korendyuk, in turn, stressed the dynamic development of Areximbank as well as its role in financing of strategic sectors of Armenia’s industry.

“Gazprombank has serious plans for development of business in Armenia. We’ve already invested about $200 million in the country’s economy, with more interesting projects is progress. We feel stable in Armenia and aim to develop here further,” the official said.
