Marseille Mayor-led delegation arriving in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - At the invitation of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Mayor of Marseille, Jean-Claude Gaudin, will be visiting Armenia from October 22 to 27.

As Paris-based journalist Jean Eckian reported, Mayor Gaudin will mainly be accompanied by Bernard Hatemian, President of the French-Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vice President Didier Parakian (Deputy Mayor) and Garo Hovsepian, Mayor 7th sector of Marseille. The delegation also includes Thierry Fabre from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Marseille-Provence and Maxime Tissot, Director of the Office of Tourism and Congress.

The delegation will meet with business leaders, the Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, Minister of Economy Vahram Avanesyan and Deputy Minister Ara Petrosyan.

Visits to Etchmiadzin, Sardarapat, Geghard, Garni, Sevan and Tsitsernakaberd are also planned.

This is the only official visit of Jean Claude Gaudin abroad this year.
