The European Phonathon, organized under the framework of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund’s Telethon 2013 raised €1,460 million, an increase of 4% compared to 2012, for the benefit of Karabakh, Armenia and reconstruction of Armenian schools in Syria, French journalist Jean Eckian reported. Hayastan All-Armenian Fund is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation established in 1994 to facilitate large-scale humanitarian and infrastructure development assistance to Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.
