OSCE CiO hails Armenian-Azeri presidential meeting in Vienna

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 20th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting launched Thursday, December 5 in Kyiv, with the Organization’s Chairperson in Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara welcoming the meeting participants and confirming the event agenda.

He further hailed the November 19 meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Vienna, and referred to protests in Ukraine over the country’s refusal to sign the EU association deal.

The meeting is attended by high-level delegations of 57 OSCE member states, 11 partner states, the heads of OSCE institutions, representatives of UN, the Council of Europe, NATO, CIS, Panorama.am said.

“Resolution of the Karabakh conflict depends on political will of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan,” James Warlick said.
Only 60 out of 193 UN General Assembly member states voted for Turkey, while its rival, Spain, received 132 votes.
The monument’s designer is Mihran Hakobjan, a 30-year-old Armenian-born artist who graduated from a Slubice college.
“We need not lie for Turkey; nor are we obliged to passively accept its transparently false denials,” ANCA Chairman Ken Hachikian said.
