Apple to unveil new Mac Pro December 16: report (video) December 6, 2013 - 11:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple's latest Mac Pro will be released on December 16, a retail listing suggests, according to Digital Spy. German computer seller Conrad Electronics has the redesigned machine pegged for launch a week on Monday, but Apple is yet to officially confirm the date. Powered by an Intel Xeon E5 processor, the new Mac Pro comes with various processor options, ranging from quad-core to 12-core specifications. The machine is capable of running 1866MHz DDR3 ECC RAM up to 64GB, and comes with internal storage options ranging between 256GB and 1TB. Apple confirmed that the Mac Pro will come with extensive connectivity features, including four USB 3 ports, six Thunderbolt 2 connections, a HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi. The computer is also capable of 4K video output thanks to an integrated HDMI 1.4 port. Apple previously revealed that the new Mac Pro will touch down this month, but Conrad Electronics is the first outlet to list a specific launch date.
