Oscar-nommed James Caan joins “Preggoland” comedy

PanARMENIAN.Net - James Caan is hitching a ride to “Preggoland”, Variety said.

The Oscar-nominated thesp has signed on to play the father of a 35-year-old woman named Ruth who fakes being pregnant so she can fit in with her friends.

Working from a comedic script by star Sonja Bennett, pic is being shot in Vancouver, B.C., and will be directed by Jacob Tierney.

Danny Trejo is also attached to star as Pedro, a ganja-smoking illegal immigrant with five kids of his own — and Ruth’s accomplice/confidante.

Other cast includes Laura Harris, Paul Campbell, and Jared Keeso.
