"Pitch Perfect" star joins Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway comedy "Intern"

PanARMENIAN.Net - Pitch Perfect‘s Adam DeVine is suiting up for Nancy Meyers‘ The Intern opposite Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. He’ll play the head of the interns in Warner Bros’ comedy about a seventysomething widower (De Niro) who enters an intern program and is assigned to the founder of a successful fashion website (Hathaway), Deadline said.

Reese Witherspoon was initially set for the web maven role before Hathaway stepped into the lead in February. It’s the latest studio gig to line up for DeVine, who recently reprised his Pitch Perfect role as an a cappella singing competitor in Universal’s Elizabeth Banks-helmed sequel and stars in Sony’s horror flick Final Girls opposite Thomas Middleditch, Nina Dobrev, and Alexander Ludwig.

Later this month he begins filming the second season of his Comedy Central show Adam DeVine’s House Party before returning for the fifth season of Workaholics next year.
