The update adds an additional column beside the News Feed, housing new sections called 'My Games' and 'Popular Games'. 'My Games' is a list of titles the user already plays with quick links for jumping into them, while 'Popular Games' is a recommendations service. "We're testing new ways to help people discover more timely and entertaining content on tablet," said Facebook in a blog post. "This update will surface content on the right-hand side of the iPad that's relevant to how people use tablets today, which is primarily to read news, watch videos and play games." Facebook has confirmed plans to include game-based adverts in the new column in the future.
