Artsakh provides new evidence of Azeri attacks

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic provided new data regarding the incident that took place overnight at the contact line between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces.

Escaping the site, the Azeris left grenade-guns, tank mines, light grenades, handcuffs, etc.

According to the NKR Defense Ministry, as result of sabotage attempt undertaken by the Azerbaijani armed forces in the northeast direction of the contact line (Martakert area), 5 Azeri soldiers were killed and 3 wounded. Meanwhile, 2 Azeri servicemen were killed and over 4 injured when trying to penetrate in on Karabakh’s Martuni area (the eastern direction of the contact line).

The casualties were confirmed by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense.

Two helicopters were observed above the settlement of Sarijali in Azerbaijan, which apparently arrived to transport those killed and injured.
