PanARMENIAN.Net - Kobo has developed a waterproof model of its Aura e-reader, Digital Spy reveals.

The Kobo Aura H2O is IP67 certified, meaning that it can withstand up to 30 minutes of submersion in one metre of water.

The touchscreen device features a 6.8-inch Carta E-Ink display with 265dpi, and is powered by a 1GHz processor.

Shipping with 4GB of internal storage and microSD support, the e-reader is backed up by Kobo's ComfortLight technology for reading in the dark, and has a battery life of up to two months.

The Kobo Aura H20 weighs in at 233g and is supported by the Kobo bookstore, which stocks more than 4 million eBooks, comics and magazines.
