Chinese media sources are claiming to have obtained specs details for the handset, citing a larger display and a more powerful chipset, PhoneArena reports. The HTC One M9 will reportedly feature a 5.5-inch QHD display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 805 processor and a hefty 3500 mAh battery. The report also says the device will include a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilisation, suggesting that HTC could be turning its back on UltraPixel technology. HTC is expected to stick with premium-grade materials for its next flagship, with the HTC One M9's casing said to be made from an aluminium silicon-carbide composite. The Taiwanese firm is expected to announce the device around the time of the Mobile World Congress next March.
