Azeri ceasefire violations at Armenian border soar on night of Dec 11

PanARMENIAN.Net - Defense Ministry spokesperson reported increased instances of ceasefire violations by Azeris on the night of December 11 at the border with Armenia, Tert.am said.

200 shots were fired against the usual amount of 30-40.

According to Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the Armenian side returned fire only in case of necessity.

About 800 ceasefire violations by Azeri side were reported at the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) and Azerbaijani armed forces from Nov 30-Dec 6.

Azerbaijan fired over 13000 shots from various caliber weapons towards the positions of Karabakh defense army, which observed the ceasefire and retaliated only in case of necessity.
