Microsoft rolls out Lumia Denim updateDecember 20, 2014 - 11:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Microsoft has started rolling out its Lumia Denim update to a "limited number of devices in selected markets," Digital Spy said. Announced at IFA 2014 earlier this year, the software will debut on the Lumia 830, Lumia 930, Lumia Icon and Lumia 1520, before coming to other devices. Lumia Denim includes a raft of new features, such as passive voice activation for Cortana, live folders, SMS merging and a faster Camera app with 4K video recording. The new Camera app shoots footage at 24 frames per second on all devices, excluding the Lumia 830. Other imaging improvements include Rich Capture mode, which automates HDR, Dynamic Flash and Dynamic Exposure, and the introduction of Microsoft's latest picture-processing algorithms. Microsoft will distribute the update to all Lumia smartphones running Windows Phone 8.1 in early January.
