LG to roll out Art Slim television panels at Consumer Electronics ShowDecember 30, 2014 - 13:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - LG will launch a new range of ultra-slim television panels at the Consumer Electronics Show next month, Digital Spy reveals. The Art Slim line will comprise 55 and 65-inch LCD displays, measuring in at just 7.5mm and 8.2mm thick respectively. The smaller screen will tip the scales at 10.4kg and the larger panel at 16.2kg, allowing them to be suspended from near-invisible wires. It is yet to be confirmed which companies will be adopting LG's Art Slim TV panels, but the company is said to have received orders for the components in China. LG previously confirmed that it will debut its range of 'Quantum Dot' TVs at CES, as well as a new version of its WebOS operating system.
