PanARMENIAN.Net - John Legend and Common have premiered the video for their Golden Globe-winning song 'Glory', Digital Spy reports.

The pair's collaboration features on the soundtrack to the critically acclaimed film Selma, which follows Martin Luther King Jr and the civil rights protests in 1965.

Shots from Ava DuVernay's movie are interspersed with clips of Legend playing the piano as Common performs in front of spotlights.

'Glory' was named Best Original Song at the Golden Globes, with Legend and Common beating competition including Sia and Lorde.

"I am the hopeful black woman who was denied the right to vote. I am the caring white supporter," Common said after being presented with the award by Prince.

"I am the unarmed black kid, who maybe needed a hand, but instead of was given a bullet. Selma has awakened my humanity," he added.

'All of Me' star Legend added: "I'm so honoured to be a part of this amazing film. We're so grateful to write this song."
