Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain in Del Toro‘s “Crimson Peak” trailer (video) February 14, 2015 - 15:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A classic haunted house is the setting for horror master Guillermo del Toro‘s latest film, “Crimson Peak” and the first trailer released teases Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska and Charlie Hunnam acting haunting and being haunted in turn, TheWrap reports. The trailer also lifts the curtain on the mysterious plot of the film, which had previously been under wraps before. Set in the Victorian era, Hiddleston and Chastain play siblings — rather creepy ones, at that — who grew up in an even creepier house. Hiddleston’s character courts Wasikowska’s, although you can see the sinking feeling on her face as she realizes she may be marrying into a situation she doesn’t want to be in, when her new sister-in-law reveals the siblings were actually raised exclusively in the attic of the expansive mansion. Del Toro wrote the haunted house thriller with Matthew Robbins and Lucinda Coxon. “Crimson Peak” is a co-production of Legendary Pictures and Universal and will be released in theaters and on IMAX on Friday, Oct. 16.
