Rihanna debuts new song "Towards the Sun" (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - A new song from Rihanna has just been debuted, it is called "Towards the Sun". The track was the lead single from the soundtrack set of upcoming animated movie "Home (2015)". Rihanna reportedly curates the record herself and created a concept album that matches the film's theme, AceShowbiz reports.

The soundtrack set of "Home", moreover, also features songs by the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Charli XCX and Kiesza. No words on when the other songs would be premiered, while the film itself is scheduled to hit theaters on March 27.

In addition to singing a soundtrack, Rihanna lends her voice to the character of Tip a.k.a. Gratuity. Her character was described as "a young girl who finds herself left behind when the Boov, an alien race, relocate to Earth and capture all the humans." She then befriends with Oh, voiced by Jim Parsons, "a quirky but banished alien outcast, and together they go on 'the roadtrip of a lifetime' as they learn what 'home' really means."
