Bjork announces first European date in support of “Vulnicura”March 6, 2015 - 16:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Bjork has announced her first European date in support of Vulnicura, with the Icelandic icon set to headline Manchester International Festival in July, Gigwise reports. It has been revealed that the singer will play a special one off show at The Castlefield Arena on 5 July, with other performers still to be announced. Taking place between 2-19 July, this year's lineup also features FKA Twigs and acclaimed producer Arca, who actually worked on Vulnicura with Bjork. Twigs' live dates will see her take over Granada Studios for a week, where she will reportedly create and direct a series of short films, with further details on her project expected to be announced soon. Damon Albarn's Alice In Wonderland-based play wonder.land will also premiere at the festival, making it's worldwide debut. The Manchester show looks set to take place over a month before Bjork's much-anticipated headline performance at Wilderness Festival in August. Tickets for Bjork's performance at Manchester Evening Festival go on sale on Friday (6 March) at 1pm.
