ANCA-WR board member joins CA Commission on Judicial PerformanceMay 20, 2015 - 09:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Pattyl Aposhian Kasparian, Member of the Board of Directors of the Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region was sworn-in to the California Commission on Judicial Performance by the authority of the People of the State of California. The Swearing-In ceremony for her four year term appointment by the Rules Committee of the California State Senate came after a thorough application review process and several interviews, Asbarez reports. The Commission on Judicial Performance is the independent state agency responsible for investigating complaints of judicial misconduct and judicial incapacity and for disciplining judges. The commission’s mandate is to protect the public, enforce rigorous standards of judicial conduct and maintain public confidence in the integrity and independence of the judicial system. The commission’s jurisdiction includes all judges of California’s superior courts and the justices of the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. Aposhian Kasparian is the Vice President of Marketing and Development for the Caltech Employees Federal Credit Union. She oversees two departments, Marketing and Business Development, in conjunction with relationship management with the extended California Institute of Technology community, which includes the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Huntington Botanical Gardens. She serves as a fourth-term Board Member of the Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region and first-term Board Member of the Caltech Y. She is a member of numerous professional and nonprofit organizations, including the Credit Union Executive Society, House of Armenia, ACF Trust Fund and School Parent Support Committee. Aposhian Kasparian received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from California State University, Northridge and an Executive Master in Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University School of Business and Management.
