  Deputy Defense Minister, OSCE MG Co-chair discuss Karabakh conflict October 9, 2015 - 18:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan met on Friday, October 9 with OSCE Minsk Group French Co-chair, Ambassador Pierre Andrieu, Tert.am reports. According to the Defense Ministry, the parties discussed the situation along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the Nagorno Karabakh contact line. Tonoyan briefed the ambassador on the frontline escalation and last week's ceasefire violations. Stressing the unacceptability of further escalation and the importance of demonstrating constructive approach to the Nagorno Karabakh peace talks, the sides exchanged opinions on confidence-building measures and ceasefire maintenance mechanisms. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
