Los Feliz Murder Mansion film in the worksOctober 31, 2015 - 20:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Just in time for Halloween, The Coalition Group and writer Joshua Malkin are developing a film around the infamous Los Feliz Murder Mansion that will be based on a popular Medium.com article written by Jeff Maysh, TheWrap has learned. The true story centers around the infamous home on Glendower Place in Los Feliz, California where, according to legend, a man killed his wife and attempted to murder his small children before poisoning himself. Even more frightening is the fact that the home has not been lived in or touched for more than 50 years, and many relics from that fateful night are still there in their original location — the home frozen in time during its darkest hour. Luisa Iskin and John Wunder are producing the Los Feliz Murder Mansion movie for The Coalition Group, which is also producing Anthony Ragnone’s Black List script “Huntsville.” Eric England is directing that film, which has Shea Whigham (“Boardwalk Empire”) and Anya Taylor-Joy (“The Witch”) attached to star. Malkin, who wrote “Cabin Fever 2” and is best known for his work in the horror space, just sold a pitch to a major studio that has yet to be announced. He’s represented by APA and Echo Lake Entertainment, while Intellectual Property Group reps Maysh.
