Armenia's leading telecommunications operator VivaCell-MTS has unveiled statistics of SMS messages and calls on its network on December 31, 2015 and January 1, 2016.

VivaCell-MTS has handled 3,510,801 SMS messages on December 31, the New Year’s Eve, with a further 2,446,970 registered on January 1, 2016. At the same time, 20,880,340 calls were made via VivaCell-MTS network on December 31, 2015, and 20,679,132 more on January 1, 2016.

In total, VivaCell has handled MTS 5,957,771 short messages and 41,559,472 calls during the reporting period.
