FM, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State talk Karabakh in Munich![]() February 13, 2016 - 17:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met Saturday, February 13 with the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland in Munich. During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the high level of bilateral relations, stressing the importance of steps towards strengthening of friendly partnership between the two countries. The officials exchanged views on ways to further develop cooperation in various sectors. Also, the Armenian foreign policy chief and the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State dwelled upon pressing regional and international issues, including the Nagorno Karabakh peace process. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
