Spotify giving away free Chromecasts to new Premium subscribersFebruary 18, 2016 - 11:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - From Wednesday, February 17 until February 28, Spotify says it will hand subscribers a free Google streamer if they sign up for a three-month Premium account that costs $30/£30, Engadget reports. With Apple Music breathing down its neck, Spotify is keen to convert its millions of free listeners into paying customers. The service hasn't been available to stream on the Chromecast for very long, so it's a good way for newcomers to try it out and add Google's latest streaming dongle to their household AV setup in the process. Currently, the offer is only available to U.S. and UK customers who haven't redeemed Spotify's free monthly trial.
