Muse confirmed to headline Glastonbury 2016 February 27, 2016 - 15:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Glastonbury have announced their second headliner for 2016 - revealing that Muse will be topping the bill alongside Pyramid Stage on the Friday, February night, Gigwise reports. Glasto had already announced that Coldplay would be the first band to headline for a fourth time, and now Muse are competing with their record - now headlining for a third time after historic sets in 2004 and 2010. This marks Muse as the only band in history to headline every night of the festival in their career. The gig is on home turf for Muse, who are themselves from the Westcountry. Revealing the news on Facebook, the band shared a video with the caption 'playing a little gig at home': Playing a little show at home… Posted by Muse on Friday, 26 February 2016 Elsewhere, PJ Harvey has been confirmed to perform on the Sunday, while Jeff Lynne's ELO will performing in the legend's slot. This month also saw the Eavis' reveal that Foo Fighters won't be performing, all of the headliners are British and the full line-up will be revealed by April. Plans for a huge David Bowie tribute have also been announced. The rumours for the remaining Glasto headliners include the likes of Biffy Clyro, Adele and Radiohead.
