Oscar winner Halle Berry in talks to join “Kingsman 2”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Halle Berry is in talks to join Kingsman 2, the Matthew Vaughn-directed sequel to the 2015 hit that launched Taron Egerton and grossed over $415 million globally for Fox, Deadline reveals.

Berry is in talks to play the head of the CIA, and the discussion is for a two-picture deal, Deadline is told. This returns Berry to the Fox fold, where she played Storm in four X-Men films. Berry most recently starred in the Luis Prieto-directed thriller Kidnap, which is scheduled for May release by Relativity.

Vaughn and Jane Goldman wrote the script for the sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service, and reports have Julianne Moore also in the film. Kingsman 2 is set for release on June 16, 2017.
