Renee Zellweger in “Bridget Jones's Baby” trailer sneak peek

PanARMENIAN.Net - Universal is releasing the first trailer for "Bridget Jones's Baby" on Wednesday, March 23. For fans who can't wait until then, the studio has kindly let them take a peek at what's to come via a teaser they dropped online, AceShowbiz said.

The 15-second clip offers glimpses of Renee Zellweger returning as the title character. It starts with the singleton looking elegant as she walks in a blue dress before she finds herself crowd-surfing at a concert and then landing on a huge puddle of mud. Also spotted in the sneak-peek are Colin Firth's Mark Darcy and his love rival, Patrick Dempsey's Mark Qwant, who appears in front of Bridget with a huge bouquet of flowers.

"Bridget Jones's Baby" is scheduled for release in the U.S. on September 16. Sharon Maguire, who directed the original "Bridget Jones's Diary" in 2001, returned to direct the upcoming film with a script she co-wrote with David Nicholls.

In the movie, Bridget is still single and will be pregnant, but she's not sure whom she has the baby with. Zellweger recently revealed that she had shot three different endings, but she had no idea which one would make the cut to the finished film. "It's kind of brilliant. None of the cast knows who fathered Bridget's baby or who she'll choose as her beau. The plan is to keep us all in the dark, right up to the premiere," she explained.
