CSTO chief discusses Karabakh with Armenian FM, Defense Minister

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) discussed the recent developments in Karabakh hostilities with Armenia’s Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense.

“Today, Nikolay Bordyuzha had new phone conversations with Edward Nalbandian and Seyran Ohanyan focusing on the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone,” CSTO spokesperson Vladimir Zaynetdinov told RIA.

As he further noted, CSTO closely follows the situation in the conflict zone, with the Armenian side providing detailed information.

On April 2, at around 8:30 am, the rival used BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher in the Martuni direction of the contact line. 12-year-old Vaghinak Grigoryan was killed in the shelling, two more children were wounded.

As many as 18 Karabakh servicemen were killed and 35 were wounded in the course of military operations.

According to Karabakh Defense Army spokesman Senor Hasratyan, 14 Azerbaijani tanks have been destroyed.
