Russia expects good sense from parties to Karabakh conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia hopes the parties to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will avoid steps that may break a rather fragile ceasefire, a spokesperson for the Kremlin told reporters Thursday, May 5, RIA Novosti says.

Dmitry Peskov said that Armenia hasn’t discussed the issue of the recognition of Nagorno Karabakh’s independence with Moscow.

"We are closely following all the decisions made in this context," Peskov said.

"Of course, we continue hoping that the parties to the conflict will avoid any steps that may trigger further escalation in Karabakh."
