Armenia may host reintroduction center for leopards

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia could help Armenia create a center for reintroduction of leopards, RIA cited Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Sergey Donskoy as saying.

“Some countries situated on the route of the leopards’ migration made the call,” Donskoy said.

“Later, our Armenian colleagues asked us to help them establish the center.”

According to him, Russia can transfer to Armenia Persian leopards that currently live at a reintroduction center in Sochi.
