Azerbaijan doesn't mind fresh presidential summit on Karabakh: FM

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani side doesn't mind a fresh meeting between the Armenian and Azeri Presidents in Paris, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said Thursday, June 30.

Mammadyarov and OSCE Chairman-in-Office, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier met in Baku and gave a press conference afterwards.

"The French side has proposed hosting such a meeting, and we don't mind," the Azeri Minister said.

According to him, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will arrive in Baku on July 4 following a visit to Yerevan.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said Wednesday that Paris is ready to serve as a platform for fresh negotiations on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.
