 Armenia’s exports to EU states grow, imports from Turkey decline July 1, 2016 - 14:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s exports grew by 20.1% in January-May of 2016 against the same period last year, amounting to around $657 million, the State Revenue Committee said in a report. The imports soared by 0.9% in the reporting period, totaling some $1.24 billion overall. Imports from CIS countries increased by 14%, and some 76.8% more goods were shipped back in the first five months of 2016. Both imports and exports to the EU member states soared in January-May this year – 1.8% and 11.1%, respectively. 5.1% and 50.7% more goods were sent to Iran and Georgia, respectively, and 10.2% less products were imported from Turkey.
