U.S. serious about resolving Karabakh conflict, envoy says

PanARMENIAN.Net - The United States is working hard to help settle the Nagorno Karabakh conflict; Washington is serious about the issue, U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta said.

The OSCE Minsk Group’s co-chairs continue to work in order to bring together the conflict sides, Cekuta said at a reception on the U.S. Independence Day on Friday, July 2.

"The time of the next meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents has yet to be agreed," he said.

Cekuta also reminded that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry discussed resolving the Karabakh conflict in phone talks with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev.
