1st look at Sofia Boutella as “The Mummy” on film set

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first images of Sofia Boutella from the London set of "The Mummy" remake have landed online. The blade-legged assassin of "Kingsman: The Secret Service" wore a white makeup and ratty fabric wrapped around her body, AceShowbiz said.

The movie follows an ancient queen (Boutella) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day after years of safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert. It brings with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.

The movie is due June 9, 2017 in the United States. Tom Cruise is the male lead and Russell Crowe has confirmed his role as "Dr. Henry Jekyll, Fellow of the Royal Society."
