Nor Nork police department chief fired in the aftermath of Sari Tagh events

PanARMENIAN.Net - By the order of the head of Armenian police Vladimir Gasparyan, the head of Nor Nork police department Armen Vatyan was relieved from his post on August 4.

“Vatyan was fired from his post for improper discharge of his office, failure to undertake operative preventive measures, resulting in multiple civilian and police injuries, as well as an incident with a journalist making a video recording on the scene,” the police told PanARMENIAN.Net

Among police staff relieved from their posts are the heads of Erebuni and Baghramyan police department Gevorg Hakopyan and colonel M. Davtyan.
