“Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner joins “Huntsville” indie drama

PanARMENIAN.Net - “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner is joining Dylan McDermott and Jack Kilmer in the independent drama “Huntsville.”

The project is based on a 2014 Black List script by Anthony Ragnone about a solitary man in a Florida town who develops a questionable relationship with a recently transplanted high school student.

Eric England is directing with production set to begin this month in and around Los Angeles.

Producers are Luisa Iskin’s Coalition Group, Kim Leadford of StarStream Media, Waterstone Entertainment’s Jeff Kalligheri and Stephen Bowen, Traveling Picture Show Co.’s Kevin Matusow, and Carissa Buffel, Steven Chester Prince, Ash Sarohia, and John Wunder. Gersh and CAA are repping domestic rights.

Turner stars as Sansa Stark on the HBO drama “Game of Thrones” and recently appeared in “X-Men: Apocalypse” as Jean Grey. McDermott had roles on “American Horror Story.” Kilmer starred opposite Emma Roberts and Nat Wolff in Gia Coppola’s “Palo Alto.”
