 Iran to decrease gas export to Armenia from September August 8, 2016 - 12:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran will reduce gas export to Armenia from next month, Iranian Deputy Oil Minister Hamidreza Araqi said while commenting on Iran-Armenia new gas discussions and reports by several media outlets, APA reports. According to him, Armenia needed more gas last month: “We accepted their proposal and increased gas export. But, we’ll reduce gas export from next month because a certain volume is provided in the contract”. Araqi also touched upon sale of Turkmen gas to Azerbaijan through Iran: “This will be realized by a private Iranian company. This company is not linked with Azerbaijani and Iranian governments. The company will buy gas from Turkmenistan and deliver to us. And we plan to sell it to Azerbaijan. We are now discussing this issue”.
