Karabakh conflict to be discussed on sidelines of UN General Assembly

PanARMENIAN.Net - A meeting on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is expected on the margins of a session of the United Nations General Assembly, U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta said, APA reports.

“The United States’ position on the conflict has not changed, we support the OSCE Minsk Group’s activity,” he said.

“Last week the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group discussed with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov the conflict settlement.”

“We continue thinking that this conflict needs to be resolved, that there has to be a settlement, that the sides need to come together for stability and wellbeing of everyone in the region,” Cekuta added.
