Benedict Cumberbatch set to make “SNL” debut

PanARMENIAN.Net - Benedict Cumberbatch and Solange Knowles are booked for the next episode of "Saturday Night Live", SNL reports. The actor is announced to host the NBC sketch show and the singer is confirmed as a musical guest before the presidential election.

It is set to mark the first time both Cumberbatch and Knowles appear on the "SNL". The former is on a media tour to promote his superhero movie "Doctor Strange" while the latter is hyping up her third studio album "A Seat at the Table".

The most recent episode of "SNL" was hosted by Tom Hanks with Lady GaGa as a performer. The show is taking a break on October 29 before returning on November 5, one day after Cumberbatch's Marvel movie is out in the United States.
