Prime Minister becomes shareholder in Gazprom-owned company![]() October 27, 2016 - 17:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has become a shareholder of OGK-2, a Russian power generation company (owned by Gazprom); 0.009% of the company belongs to him, RIA reports citing OGK-2 documents. Karapetyan's share in the company changed on Wednesday, October 26. He held no shares in OGK-2 before. OGK-2 explained that the premier received the shares as a reward for his work carried out in 2015. Karapetyan was named Armenia's premier in early September following Hovik Abrahamyan's resignation. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
