Chinese citizens can get electronic visas to visit Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chinese citizens will be able to visit Armenia with electronic visas, Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan said Thursday, November 3.

Kocharyan reminded that the Chinese had to apply to the Armenian embassy in person to obtain visas.

"Given the large size of the country, serious difficulties can arise in this process, so it was decided that the citizens of the East Asian country can use the E-VISA system," the diplomat said.

"The move will increase the number of Chinese tourists visiting Armenia."
