Public Services watchdog looks to revise electricity tariffs

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's Public Services Regulatory Commission announced on Thursday, November 3 plans to initiate electricity price revision.

Earlier on Thursday, a proposal made at a Cabinet session suggested that the watchdog apply differentiated rates for natural gas and electricity.

Labor and social affairs minister Artem Asatryan said the regulator is proposed to apply special tariffs for socially disadvantaged citizens, considering them a separate category and setting the lowest tariffs possible.
