New postage stamp celebrates traditional Armenian cuisine

PanARMENIAN.Net - On Monday, November 28, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “The Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications. National Cuisine” was put into circulation in Yerevan.

The stamp was cancelled by the President of the organization Development and Preservation of Armenian Culinary Traditions Sedrak Mamulyan and Acting Chief Executive Officer of HayPost CJSC Haik Avagyan.

With a nominal value of AMD170, the postage stamp was printed in Cartor printing house in France and depicts the traditional Armenian festive dish Telbats Koubati, which is a fish and veggie dish baked in puff pastry.
