20 ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan registered overnightJanuary 24, 2017 - 10:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - More than 20 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered on the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh overnight on January 23-24. Azeri troops, in particular, employed large-caliber firearms, a grenade launcher and a 60-mm mortar to fire some 210 shots. The Karabakh Defense Army troops continued controlling the situation on the contact line and protecting their positions. More than 55 ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani army were registered on the contact line the night before. On Sunday, January 22, at around 10:25pm, Nagorno Karabakh serviceman Karen Ulubabyan (b. 1995) was killed in an Azerbaijani attack on the contact line.
